Don't worry, they'll get her!!! My Light Brahma was continually fighting off my little bantam NN, then lo and behold one day I see him on her and she's just sitting there.

I don't remember the name of the sunflower type root that you gave me at the Ramona meet up, but the dogs love the leaves. Is it safe for them to eat? They can't get to them right now but they would sure love to.

I think I'm okay still, so I'll pass this round.

Jake- it usually runs around $25 / 50# with shipping and all. Their prices vary month to month, but the last two times I bought it, that would be about the average.

Six weeks to the day, my broody Mama went to roost with the big girls and left the chicks to nest in the other coop alone - I was so sad to see them in the nest box huddled together. My broody laid an egg today, so that must have been her sign that motherhood is over. She did such a great job - I am really impressed!

Here is my confirmed roo - he was one of the fertile eggs she hatched. He is a buff/black orpington - 6 weeks old today!
