I've got one (maybe two) cockerels who just hit 25 weeks, so I haven't had any fertile eggs in some time. When/if I get any doubles, I will certainly save them for you!

My hubby deserves three gold stars. He spent his entire day off yesterday digging holes and pouring concrete for our new, expanded run. We went to Home Depot last night for more supplies, and will be hanging fence today. He's a keeper...

Good morning everyone!

I have an Australorp that is spending a lot of time off her feet. She will sit in the bottom of the coop, run floor, etc. She's always the last on the roost. When I approach her she jumps up quickly and runs off, but I'm feeling something is off about her. She didn't really go through a big molt. Everyone else in the coop are doing great, just this gal worrying me.

The flock has been dewormed and dusted so I don't suspect worms or mites. This has been going on for a couple of weeks so I don't suspect that she's egg bound. Any ideas?
