I took some (lame) pictures today. I didn't get the whole mob, but a few here and there...

My home-grown Easter Egger. (Mama was a true EE, and I think papa was my Speckled Sussex roo.) She just started laying a deep brown egg.

A Blue Andalusian pullet that I got from Laurel. Her older BA friend is giving me very nice white eggs now...

The black Ameraucana roo I got from Phage. He would not cooperate with keeping his head up, and his blue friend was camera shy.

The FBCM I bought from Emily. She is such a feathery love; I can't wait for her to start laying!

I also wanted to let you know that I still have both scruffy hens from you. The move was harder on the Buff Orpington. She hangs out at the nest box more than I would like. Edna has blended right in and is one of my FAV's.

She is not far from my feet looking for handouts. She is laying a HUGE egg. The BO is a freeloader.

Dana, I enjoyed the pics so much. Thanks for sharing. What is your address? I will be over to steal all of the hens and Piper. She has gotten SO big. I remember the pic of her when you had just gotten her. Wow! How time flies.

I have a Black AM too and she is the sweetest thing out back. Maybe in the spring, I will add MORE. My new neighbors have a Speckled Sussex roo and I LOVE the looks of him. They hatched some eggs and I am guessing he is the father and the chicks are to die for. I am trying to figure out how to get my hands on them.
