from Santee and Jacumba I dont have chicks right now because I am just raising up chicks of my own.... Others will chime in....

Oh and if you have a local feed store you can get some chicks there. Bonita has a few. Feb and March are months where the feed stores bring in chicks to get people started for the year.

Thankyou for your service....

Keep looking I know Chick days are supposed to start somewhere in Escondido and In El Cajon.... I just am kind of fuzzy on the day... I am thinking somewhere around the end of the month. Do you have a coop started? The little buggers grow fast. LOL.

Hello and
welcome-byc.gif
Victor!

There is usually always someone with chicks or started pullets available. As well as most feed stores. They usually get their shipments in weekly so you could keep calling and ask if they have them in yet.

Are you guys specifically wanting chicks or young adult birds?

Welcome!

Glad to see the chicks doing so well, and OMG I LOVE those puppies. Cattle dog crosses are the BEST!
Were there any more puppies available??

So cute, Dana.

And since we're sharing, remember Miriam (Phage) and her batorful of like 100 eggs? Well, I decided to take a few off her hands. 2 Lavender Ameraucanas, 2 BLRW and 2 EEs from lavs and I don't know what else. They're doing great, but seem to be afraid of the iphone :)

And also new to our family are Desmond and Penelope, brother and sister cattle dog crosses.

Victor!!

We have some eggs (olive eggers and true blue egg wheaten ameraucanas) in the bator if you can wait a couple of weeks, otherwise "chick days" is hard to resist! And luvinbluechickens has Swedish flower hens for sale that should be laying soon.

I have built a coop on the little to no spare time i have. we are looking for chicks (i also made an improvised brooder out of a tupperware box) we even have food and waterers but no chicks yet. i will definetly keep looking!! Chick days looks promising, have any of you been to that event?

BTW those are some terribly cute looking puppies! i have a 2 month old Border Collie names Clair, is that a good time to introduce her to chickens?! :)

On chick days they will have over 50 breeds of chickens and other day old fowl. Its a good way to get a wide assortment of layers for your flock. Next week I may have bantam ameraucanas, silkies and possibly black east indies ducklings for sale. Anyone want any, let me know.

WHAT BLACK EAST INDIES?
Where did you get the breeding pair from?how come i didnt see them at your place the other day?
I have an order for them at hollerread poultry farm.
please tell me more.
