update on stephen
he dislocated his left elbow and broke his arm.
they are headed to childrens to reset it.steve(dad) is not sure what else is planned if they need to pin it or cast it only.
poor little man he was not given pain meds as he will get them at the hospital for the procedure.
he is in great pain
my heart is broken for him

So sorry to hear about Stephen! I know it's got to be terribly painful. I broke my pinkie and said a few words that scared even the horse!!!
Give him from us in Julian.

they came home at 1am this morning.he is fine now once everything was back where it needed to be.
once they had more x rays at childrens they saw he did not dislocate his elbow.no pins or surgery but a nice sky blue cast from upper arm to wrist.
he is still in bed but had good spirits when he returned home in hopes of a new ds game to "give him something to do" oh boy they know how to play with the mamas heart strings.his bigger brother broke his leg on a hike 2 years ago and could not move or do anything for months so well he received some new games to help pass the time.so well he thinks hes intitled to some games too.
they crack me up.

so all is fine over here and maybe i over reacteds a bit.
guess that is a mama think

Cari your little duck is so cute.Im putting 18 in the bator come next week.I can barely wait to see one of those little quakers over here.

You didn't over react Renee. It's a scary thing to see your kid suffering. A full arm cast is nothing to scoff at. That had to hurt like heck!!
Yeah, he should get a game! Which arm is it? The one he uses most?

I haven't stopped thinking about those Cotton Patch geese of RHRanches. Now all of you are flaunting ducklings. Wish I wasn't soooooo over
my limit already. :/

Miriam, I'm so sorry to hear about your B-I-L and your friend; that's a lot of bad news right on top of each other.

Ducks need a pool, right? And do they need to live separately from chickens? I doubt a could have a water feature suddenly appear here without somebody noticing! (Although one small boy went back home yesterday, so that means I have room for three more, right? Or is it four?)
