thanks guys! yes she is my first she is so tiny yet she has soooo much hair.
and i got it down to a science the brooder stays at 90d's with a heater and a lamp.
the brooder itself is about 9 feet long by 4 feet wide so plenty of space for the the little bugs.

Vick, your daughter is just beautiful... my boys were both as bald as cue balls, so I appreciate a great head of hair!

Speaking of newborns, I think my hatch is winding down. The final tally looks to be 3 FBC Marans (2 blacks, 1 beautiful blue) 4 Amearucanas (I think all blacks), 1 Am X Blue Andy cross, and 1 Cuckoo Marans that might be a splash. (That one is still all wet.)

We have an unofficial duck rescue here.  Feel free to contact me if you need any takers.  My hubby is going to make the ducks their own big yard so that we don't have to lock them in their various duck houses at night.  Can't take in any adults right now but can make room for ducklings.

Thanks Donald Fan. Hopefully, I won't see any more little ones like this dumped again.

today 60 out of 65 quail eggs hatched :O i was expecting a much lower hatch rate they are SO tiny the size of my thumb! oh gosh my house is full of babies!!! !!

not long,im done ion a 6 or so minutes and let her finish her grain.she is the best on the stand.doesnt spooke.
Cari took the one milker yesterday so now i have 2 in milk and 2 doelings.One takes care of the families needs and one i use for cheese and trading for fruit and veggies.works good for us.Took 4 breedings to get an udder like that though.

Brownie also gave me a quart last night, maybe a little more. I'm sure she will have a ton when I go out right now and milk them.
