I've owned - Ameraucanas, Silver-Laced Cuckoo Marans, Wyandottes, Welsummers, Buff Orpingtons, Spanish "clown breeds", Brahmas, Easter Egger, Plymouth Rocks, Rhode Island Reds, Cochins, Leghorns, Barnevelders, and Australorps.
Lost hens to: Hawks, dogs, mountain lions, foxes, heat, old age, and disease. Felt every one of them.
