Sand box in chicken pen.

Hi All,

I am looking to make a sand box to put in my chicken pen to give my ladies
something to dust and play in.

first of all I want to make sure that this would be okay to do.
Secondly, do you think they would use it to dust in?

I was going to use regular play sand, not the kind that has dyes in it or anything.

Just wondering.

Yes it would be good for them, regular play sand is perfect.

they should dust bathe in it.

I think they would really enjoy playing in it.

I plan on mixing some DE into it so that they get some
benefits of keeping any lice down.
