Sand for the run

What kind of sand do you use in your run area and where do you buy it?

I use masonry sand. I like it because it's fine sand but has larger particles that are useful as grit. It costs me $40 a yard. I haul it home myself from the sand and gravel yard. Every town or city usually has a sand, cement, and gravel yard.
