Im wondering if sand would be to cold for a NH coop in the winter?
I am wondering the same thing. We planned it, then my husbnad mentiond it could freeze? We plan it for the run, not the coop floor. Will watch for answers
Lot's of NH folks here
The only thing that freezes is moisture. Dry sand does not freeze. I say where the droppings are in the mornings would, but that would be the only place.
