Im wondering if sand would be to cold for a NH coop in the winter?

I am wondering the same thing. We planned it, then my husbnad mentiond it could freeze? We plan it for the run, not the coop floor. Will watch for answers [IMG]

The only thing that freezes is moisture. Dry sand does not freeze. I say where the droppings are in the mornings would, but that would be the only place.
