It wouldn't be a facility. I would raise them as pets. Only one or two. I would put them out with our other animals.

If they do have such a permit, part of getting a permit is their required inspection of your "facilities" in which you would be maintaining them. If your "facilities" do not meet with their requirements, you would be denied a permit.

This is all speculation since I am pretty sure that no such permit exists. I am also pretty sure that there is no place that you can purchase any to keep as pets.

By all means do contact your state's DNR and see what they have to say.

Ok Thankyou, I will probably just stick with the birds I have now. I don't want to go through that just so I can get one. I would still need to buy one after all the time and money put into the facility.
