SandHill Preservation review

Well guess what! I got the call on Tuesday that my chicks shipped. But I didn't get a lot of what I wanted. They sent me all these polish. I ordered red and gold polish. I got white and buff laced. The dominques all got killed by a predator so I didn't get any of those. The blrw are not laying so I didn't get any of those.
I got two mottled Java but one has something wrong with it leg that I don't think is fixable.
The sent 3 cuckoo Marans, 7 blue Orpingtons and 2 barred Hollands.

I'm glad you got your chicks! But it's too bad you didn't get what you wanted. I'm still waiting on my goslings.

Sand hill called me today , they told me that they sent me only 11 scots dumpy and 5 exchequer leghorn, and they will send me the rest of the order( 5 mottled java and 5 cream brabanter)

Did they tell you if you're getting filler chicks? You might end up with a bunch of extras because I think they don't like to ship less than 25 chicks.

No call for me on my waterfowl. Might call them on Thursday for an update.

IMG_1754.JPG IMG_1753.JPG I got my chicks today they sent 16 and 2 chicks were dead.................

Got a refund check and a letter from sandhill today.
Letter stated that theyve had problems with just about every predator. Lost 100s of birds. 26 different breeds totally gone and most other breeds are way down in numbers.
Hatching way less then whats needed to cover orders already received.
My order was put in almost a year and a half ago.

I placed three orders at the time. Tried to break it into a few orders so it would be easier to fill them.
One shipped within a month or so. The second shipped earlier this year. Almost to the day of one year from when they took my order. This was the third and last order that they just canceled.

I'm gonna have to call again on Thursday about my gosling order. It's getting to the end of the goose laying season so if the eggs aren't incubating by now I'm probably out of luck until next year.
