Is it meat? <- Don't answer that we all know it's not real meat, but it's rhetorical. Is the meat "sandwiched" between bread? It's a sandwich.

I've had them that way, it just seems so wrong! I mean, I'm not really a big fan of hot dogs so I rarely have them anyway, but a nice bun or a roll is what makes them tolerable. A flat piece of bread that doesn't fit around to the sausage perfectly ruins it.

What buns do you have that fit perfectly around a sausage? I always feel like my sausage is about to fall out of the buns. Or worse tear them so I get sauce all over me.

That actually looks really good. Too bad they didn't throw on some fermented cabbage and hot sauce.

One lettuce leaf, one glob of mayonnaise spread across leaf, one pinch of Mexican blend cheese, one boiled all beef hot dog, a heaping spoon of fermented cabbage, some green onion, drown it in hot sauce, choke it down. This sounds terrible, but I like it

I'm just giving you a hard time. I'd never willingly use bread instead of a bun/roll. Even patty melts are weird to me because they aren't on buns.
