I have chickens and a roosters for a year now. I live watching them and listening to their voices. We hatched 2 eggs, one grew up to be another rooster, attacked the dad few days ago. We plan to free range him in his seperate coup with a few new chicken. Any advice appreciated. Should we get him acckenated first before putting any chicken?

All new birds being added to original flock members should have an acclamation period where they can see each other but not touch each other for at least 7 days. Once you remove the barriers and permit them to intermingle there should be plenty of space and things to do in that space as well as things to hide behind if they need to.
