Here is my sapphire gems first egg! Not only is it her first egg but it’s also mine 😁 so exciting! She is 16 weeks old

Wow, how cool! Congrats! That must have been a wonderful surprise to find. My two, Sapphire and Smoke, are 14 weeks old. I can hardly wait!!
But my RIR's, Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, and Easter Eggers are 18.5 weeks and still haven't laid I gave them a pep talk this morning!!!

Congratulations! Personally, I've never been very fond of those Hindenburg shaped eggs. I used to get them sometimes but thinking about it now, I haven't seen one for awhile. I lost a hen recently, there is probably a correlation. It will be interesting to note if the shape has anything to do with being a first, or if it carries on for the life of the hen.
Sorry, I don't mean to take anything away from finding your first treasure. I wish you many years of collecting your gold.

I am also still waiting on my RIR and Wyandotte! Seems like I’ll probably have a few more weeks then
