Sapphire Gem pullet or roo?

This sapphire gem chick is between 2 and 3 weeks old, purchased as a pullet in a group from a local farm supply but I’m not so sure.
From what I understand about this breed, the hens are not supposed to have this type of barring on their feathers? None of the other chicks I’ve got have similar coloring, they look like standard pullets of the breed. I’ve attached a few photos where i labeled him/her as a 1. Also attached is a pic of one of the other SG chicks I have to show the major difference in them. I know it’s too early to truly tell but I’m very skep of this particular chick :idunno
I had one just like this. Now I’m questioning. I have heard that sapphire gem pullets are early bloomers when it comes to comb development regarding size and color.

happy to report that all of my girls are definitely pullets after 9 weeks, even the barred one I originally posted. With that being said, none of mine have that big of a comb!

My 4/5 weeker has a bigger comb than your 9 weeker. Do have any pics of her a a teeny tiny?
If it’s a sapphire gem, that’s a girl. cockerels would have barring. Here’s a picture of my little Sapphire Gem at that age. A males would also have a white spot on their head.

Mine def has a comb that big or a little bigger and just as colored. Def younger though as he/she isn’t fully fathers like this. We do have some barring in wings though.

Here’s a couple pics of her at various ages. She had a lot of barring on the wings as a tiny baby as you can see but it went away pretty fast!

This is a far from perfect method, but I have observed that roos tend to have thicker legs than pullets. Kind of makes sense - that is nature has to prepare the legs to support a larger creature. Anyway,,, with all the chicks the same age compare the girth of their legs. The one's with the larger girth, might very well be roos.
