Sapphire Gem Rooster??!

Yup he is a cockerel, I don’t know how but out of 3 saphire gems that were supposedly pullets I got 2 cockerels!

I got 4 suppose to be pullets I'm worried they are barely 2 weeks and getting good size combs

My cockerel had a good size comb but I didnt think anything of it as I thought it was the breed. I hope you get some pullets!

UPDATE! So my Sapphire (whatever she is) hen, finally laid an egg! She is our earliest layer from the batch of chickens we got in mid/late January, started laying a few days before our Barred Rock Hen. Her eggs are HUGE but not olive in color so I'm assuming she is not a Sapphire OE but just a Sapphire Gem? Here are pics of the eggs, she laid the medium sized one yesterday and the larger one today. The smallest egg belongs to the Barred Rock, she laid that one yesterday.

I had two of them. The first one was a cockerel yes. The second one that was lighter in color, someone said was a sapphire olive egger. She is not an olive egger.. but lays brown eggs. She too is a sapphire gem.
