Sorry I should of specified I only took headshot of one chick. The other one has a solid color head. The wing shot is the other chick

I'd say they both have headspots so...

That is myth. It's false... Sapphire Gems are NOT an auto- sexing breed, which means you can't tell at hatch by the color, or pattern of the peach fuzz. I would wait until they are around 6 weeks old, and then post them here in this thread. Did you buy them as straight run or pullets?

Dont call it this early... I had a OE with a very big clear head spot and she lays beautiful olive eggs so I'm glad I didn't jump the gun on declaring her a "he."

We will have to keep them anyways until we find out for sure. Keeping my fingers crossed that at least one is a female. Any Roos will get re-home. They are so beautiful tho.

Hmmm, I read they are sex link and that’s why they could tell at hatching. Oh well time will tell. Am keeping my fingers crossed tho… lol

Wings don't mean anything.
If one has a solid head it's a girl.
The one pictured with the headspot is a male.
