Nearly 6 weeks old, I know it’s early, but anyone care to take a guess? This specific olive egger has a completely different attitude than my other 2, as well as a larger Comb. Really hoping he’s a she lol.

Last 3 pics are of one of the other 3 for reference.

Thanks!

Looks like a girl to me, comb is still nice and yellow. I have one myself that is 8 weeks old, looks the same but a bit more feathered out. Her comb is way bigger than my other pullet chicks (of different breeds) but it's still yellow so I'm pretty confident mine's a girl too.

You'll probably know for sure in a few more weeks, if it really is a boy I would think the waddles and comb would be drastically more developed than on the pullets. The difference is only slight right now and there will always be some individual differences in growth rate.

I'm going to say cockerel.
That comb is big for that age. If I'm correct, the comb should start to redden up in 2 ish weeks, maybe sooner.

Can you get pics of its hatch mates?

Yea! The last 3 pics are of one of the others. I can get a pic of the 3rd. And post it tomorrow.

I wonder if it’s just throwing me off that they are developing faster than my other birds. With this group of 12 I have 3 lav orps, 3 French BCM, 3 specks and 3 sapphire OE. The olives are just way bigger all around, aside from the orps plumping up.
