I picked up sapphire sky chicks at tsc two days ago. Limited info out there. I wanted something like the easteregger but not ha. Right now I could have a roo in the bunch

I purchased 15 pullets from tsc. But one was a roo. Now ima add them to my list of fertile eggs and chicks to sell because they are such sweet and friendly breed. They lay the most beautiful shades of dark green to mint color eggs.

Nice looking. I just bought some chicks this week.

Don't panic yet. EVERYONE told me my Kramer was a boy, they had huge and fairly reddened combs and waddles reeeeallly early. I had changed their name from Astrid to Kramer.. Very much a hen though. Post pics of your babies if youd like too

Ok. I’ll post some. I think 3 have more of a long back. But maybe that’s the breed. Also those have a beak that is thicker where comb starts.

We had a power outage last night. I woke up to a cold house so brood light was off and cold. My incubator eggs cold. Chicks seem fine after generator plugged in but eggs have no idea ‘

Kramer is precious! I’m so excited to see a Sapphire Sky grown, as mine is only 8 weeks. Reading through the thread I see Kramer is a hen?! I’ve been worried about my sweet Maisy after reading a post about males and barring on a sapphire gem post. I was under the impression thats what I had and just recently learned I have a sapphire sky. This gives me hope
