Sapphire sky, lets see em grown!

Pics
How awesome !!! Post some eggs! I just got from vacation my hens comb grew so much I didn’t recognize her. 😂😂
These are all from our one Sapphire Sky! She’s still young and her eggs have a lot of variety when it comes to color and size and for the first month of laying, she had a lot of softshell eggs that she would lay at night from the roosting bar, which made for a fun cleanup the next day 🤦‍♀️😂

Mine are getting there.
I can tell soon this one. She keeps pacing and sounding slightly stressed. I came back from vacation and I didn’t even recognize her. I had to look twice because her comb got so much bigger and wider. And so did her body , like so many of them are starting to look like a regular hen now.

I have 4 that look darker like this they aren’t as friendly as the first hen. She tries to friend the other sets of flocks but they run her off. She’s very neutral around all even the dog

All these aka cream leg bars mix really are the athletes. Very fast . These dark ones have discovered that they can open the coop from the inside. So they’re very smart figuring that out . I couldn’t figure out for the longest time. Why the coop would pop open. I thought it was something about the coop , but it was the chickens. 😂😂😂. I gave them my adult hen’s pen. It is about 20‘ 25 feet long and all day these sapphire sky pullets sprint back-and-forth. They are in very good condition. Better condition than I.😬

So far left to right SS egg blue copper marans . They must of really scratched the maran egg. Unfortunately , one of the SS was an egg eater. Don’t know how long this went on but they’re laying

Well, this sucks. Pretty sure I have another egg eater in the sapphire sky birds. Please tell me this will soon pass? I did see a soft shelled egg this morning. But another hand was laying an egg before I left so I put the door down and left her in there by herself to see what would happen. I was kind of shocked because she ate it. She had yoke on her face. I have never had this many problems with layers in the beginning. Let me know your thoughts I guess about what’s going on. Will they outgrow this or what I put in a fake egg in one of the boxes maybe I need to put more fake eggs in?
