Here is the 14 week boy in question:
He has never had a tail much - he has the bone, you can see it, he is NOT rumpless - but the feathers just... nope. He is the only cockerel of this flock, and he is a good boy so far and does all the right things he is supposed to do...
But why no tail? They are not getting plucked out - this flock is very nice and while there are constant little dominance battles, they never resort to pecking.
Is he just a slow grower?
