Don't ya know we ain't supposed to see where our food comes from? That wouldn't be right at all. And if the kids see it the turkey buisiness goes down hill because they won't eat if they see their food before it was killed lol. Then there are the rest of us lol. I would rather meet my dinner first hehe.

Within living memory, meat processing was a fact of life and an essential kitchen skill for 95% of the western world. You wanted chicken or turkey for dinner, you went out back and got a bird, killed it, dressed it and cooked it. Or, you went to the butcher and got a freshly killed bird and dressed it at home. For this to be shocking, we've really come a long way in a short time.

I do not think how it was filmed had anything to do with her. The TV station was the one who decided to film the background goings on.
