How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I have 21 chickens, and 7 of them are roosters or cockerels. 2 nom laying pullets, 1 post broody and 1 broody, and the rest are layers (11 of them most of whom havent been laying). Anyway, yesterday, I checked both coops and there was one egg. I was so surprised. Today, there's 10 eggs. I swear this is the most eggs I've ever gotten in one day, ever. I have averaged 4 or 5 a day every day since solstice and now I'm overloaded by eggs within one day

I got a dozen eggs today!

Sigh. From a friend with chickens. Mine are still on winter break. They are past their prime, older than that, and getting up there. (That's almost 3, almost 4, and nearly 6.)

Lawn ornaments I have many of these, they have their place, good teachers for youngsters and good at keeping the young Roos in their place

I have 4 hen's 2 are smaller breeds but I got 2 today. I get 2 or 3 a day.
