Obama, does have an impressive resume. But, he has no executive experience. In fact, in the last 3 years he has been in the Senate, he has voted 130+ times as present. He couldn't even make a yes or no decision. On the contrary, Sarah, has had executive experience, making the every day decisions it takes to run the city, and the State of Alaska for 6+ years. I totally agree with the earlier quote, and do not want the President getting "on the job training."

I believe that only incumbent presidents really know what they're getting themselves into.
Every candidate will "learn on the job".
And like Potter said a while back, I don't want a candidate who's like me. Sure, I'm plenty smart and have spent a fair amount of time in education. But I am not interested in the complexities of running a country as one of 3 arms of our government.
Remember: the president is just one arm in our country's system of checks & balances. S/He must work alongside the other two branches - the Supreme Court and the Congress - to run the country. Who can do that best? Each of us believes differently... and each of us is entitled to a single vote. Use it wisely.
Every candidate will "learn on the job".

I am a woman of faith, and am opposed to abortion myself. But I simply cannot put that single issue on one side of a scale, with education, healthcare, eldercare, the environment, equal pay for women, the rapidly-tanking economy, poverty, war, family rights, etc. on the other side of the scale, and hope to strike ANY kind of balance. The "right" seems to fuel itself on two issues: abortion and gay marriage. I tend to think a little more broadly than that when it comes to the political process.
To make this poultry-related, Alex and I clipped one wing on each of our turkeys today. Their RIGHT wings.
Yes, we realize that that leaves us with a bunch of left-winged turkeys. But, to broaden the metaphor, since we know we're going to be surrounded by turkeys no matter what, we'd rather they not be right-wing turkeys.

Ill give a hint - it has to do with the Bill of Rights and is the main reason sited for a need for a living constitution. I would go further to say that it is probably the main reason that Democrats have lost the last 2 presidential elections (other than having nominees who might have been seen as slightly less charismatic than Bullwinkle).
Perhaps it would be helpful to view people who have decided on a different canidate than yourself as possibly having come to that decision for valid reasons instead of pigeonholing them as 'single issue voters.'
