Here are Sarge and Goldie. I got them in August as young chicks (not sure exactly how old but they were still pretty 'fluffy'.

They started out the same size but Goldie was sick for awhile. (see my 'Limping chicken' post from a few weeks ago. ). She seems to have recovered but it appears she stopped growing for awhile or else she is just growing at a slower rate. Goldie seems fine now. She is definitely low lady in the coop but doesn't get picked on excessively. I'm wondering about her tail feathers. They look like they have been pecked but I've never seen anyone pecking her tail.

Any idea what these girls could be and do you think Goldie will catch up in size?

Wow, they're pretty, but I can't even make a guess as to what they are. Where'd you get them from?

Maybe this will bump you up a bit, at least, and get someone who knows more than me to look...

My grandson got them from a local guy who has a combo pet shop/nursery near our city. He probably gets his chicks that he sells from local Arab farmers. I suspect these are some sort of mix.
