Thanks Weimarmama from Alabama and DRUMSTICK DIVA I LOVE YOUR HAT!! I think I will join a Silkie thread. Thank you. There is just so much I don't know about Silkies. I was set on getting them when I went to get babies at the feed store, but the plan was to only get hens and no roosters. Well, when the very nice man told me at the feed store about not being able to tell the gender until they got older I had to do a coin toss and still chose to get the Silkie. Now I am reading that the roosters can be really really mean. Absolutely have to get on a Silkie thread.
