Saved Ducklings Stuck in Storm Drain

We're going to try to reunite them with their mother, to the advice of a rescue we called. If she won't take them back, we'll take them to the wildlife clinic. Updated pics! View attachment 2371746View attachment 2371748
One of the reasons I thought they might not be pure mallard is because of their down color and their feet. They're down is a lavenderish yellow and their feet are a muddy orange. One has a really cute ink splotch on his webbing.
I agree they do look like mixes and not pure mallards. Especially the one in the back at the top of the picture. Good luck. They are cuties! Was their mother a regular mallard?

UPDATE!!! We brought the ducklings back to the pond and found mama duck!!! She came waddling over with her two remaining babies and the three rescues bounded out of the box to meet her. It was so cute. The mother started preening her babies and quacking all worried and checking them over and then the family headed back out to the water. It made me so happy seeing them all together again! I'll find the pics I took and post them in a bit.

@FunnyfarmMidwest yes, she looked like a pure mallard, but the father could have been anyone. There's like a million different breeds there, Runners, Cayugas, Calls, lots of Pekins and there's a flock of wild wood ducks there now too.
