He died the night before. I truly think his lungs were full of water from his fall in the water dish. It was only a couple of seconds and he was on his back, but as small as he was and I didn't get the rocks in there soon enough... Kids were out finding some as it happened and hubby was watching him - not well enough - as I posted here. It's a lesson learned and I won't be soon to forget it.
He was still eating and drinking up until the last 6 hrs of his life. My husband wouldn't cull him and I couldn't do it either, so we let him slip away as comfortably as we could.
