Saxony 7 weeks old boy or girl?

Hi, please can you help can you tell from the Colours if this is a boy or a girl yet at seven weeks old?

I think a girl but i don’t know too much about the breed so not 100% sure. Hopefully someone else can help.

Both sexes start with juvenile plumage that looks the same. Definitely easier to go by voice as Ratchnick stated. The girls have the typical “quack” sound, whereas boys will sound raspy. Boys also will keep peeping for far longer than the girls do.

Picked it up tonight to put it to bed and it gave a massive quack. So glad it’s a girl as already have 1 drake
