I found gimpy chick dead yesterday morning in the kitchen inside her little plastic tote house. She bled out in the night for the last time....

I've never felt so sad about a bird before.

Oh that's sad. I followed the Gimpy chick thread. She fought all the odds again and again. And she vaccumed the floor, if I recall correctly. Dang...

She was my little kitchen floor vacuum. Who knew a chicken could be so much fun?

As sad as I am, I am glad that its over.. it likely would have gone on and on with her nearly dying and me saving her... not a very pleasant life for either of us.
