Say it Isn't so...my speckled sussex rooster sounds like a cat and needs a new home :(

I have a 10 week SS that we've been suspicious of being a roo...and this morning we heard this almost cat growl. So at this point he's got to be a roo! Certainly doesn't 'act' like a roo and we are a bit sad as this is our only SS and didn't want a rooster :(.
Will that be his 'crow' or will it get better and actually sound like a rooster?
We will look to rehome him, so if anyone is in the Massachusetts area looking for a speckled sussex rooster, let me know!

Before you rehome it, perhaps post a pic of him on here showing it’s face and saddle feathers for some who are more capable of positively determining if it’s a roo or just a weird pullet trying to crow, I’ve heard that sometimes if there is no rooster the dominant hen will attempt to crow, but I’m no expert!
Just posted pic! Thank you for that! I didn't know that a hen would try to crow. He/She is a bit bossy with the others but is very skiddish with us and very quiet otherwise...even the 'peep' 'peep' is a whisper!

All cockerels sound pretty goofy, and almost sick, when they begin to crow. It takes practice, some times several weeks, to perfect their beautiful crow. Here is my last little one and his first try at crowing.

He’s a beautiful SS cockerel!
