Say it with me...'I want those free eggs!' Winners on pg 13!

I would like these eggs because.....
When I originally started into the poultry-world, it was with ducklings for Easter back when I eight years old. I have had poultry (chickens and ducks) basically ever since. But this last summer, I had to sell all of my current ducks (Cayugas, Swedish, and Buff) due to a move, and now I would love to get back into raising these personable waterfowl.
In other news - I have started, and currently teach, the 4-H Poultry Club for my county. Any extra birds I have will go to supply the kids in their poultry projects.
Thank you for considering me, and thank you for making this offer available to us all

i'm sayin! the whole family is going to read all the entries together. so fun! i think i am having more fun than the entrants!

It is fun to be giving and absolutely gleeful when people get excited.

My incubator is full and I just happen to have at least one little duckie in there that's developing for my kids so I would like to ask that the eggs go to Namaste Mama. That little guy needs some duckies and designer chickies.

I am new to chickens, and am wondering what is a LF Duck? Does the L stand for Lazy???

And what is a Designer chicken, does that mean it will come out and straighten out my coop, and expect me to hang curtains?

Being new to the forum, (and quite warmly welcomed by everyone i must add). I would love these eggs with one simple request, I have no place to keep the ducks so I would love to see them go to another individual who has the proper setup to care for them.

Currently my flock (if you can call it that) consists of 5 New Hampshire Red chicks that are about 2 weeks old. and I am in the process of finishing up my coop and pen while the chicks are in the brooder.

I admit that being new to all of this I may not be the most viable cantidate for these eggs, but would love to take this oppertunity to learn and build my small flock at the same time.

Marlinchaser,
LF Duck = Large Fowl Duck = not Bantam
Designer chicken = some forum of cross breed, may even be a unrecognized or new breed
