Hello all! I'm new to this site, and am looking forward to meeting like minded chicken enthusiasts!
The birds I am currently raising are headed up by a Buff Brahma Rooster and consist of 20 Buff Orpingtons, 20 Barred Plymouth Rocks, 9 RI Reds and 5 Jersey Giant/Brahma crosses, and a few extras that are just pets. (One Buff Orpington, one Easter Egger, a Silver Lace Wyndotte and a Roo that is of an undetermined breed.)
I'll be getting 50 Red Star chicks this spring and am super excited!
Besides chickens, we are raising 4 children, several goats, 5 dogs and a stray cat.
