scab came off of where her cord was... inside looks like cooked yolk.

Jasmin had a scab and what looked like an abscess. I had made up my mind to let her be and give her antibiotics and let nature take it's course. Well she had gotten dirty and as I was washing her off the scab became lose and actually pulled right off.... Inside the hole was... well it look's like a hole in a body for the most part but around the edge's likes EXACTLY like a hard boiled egg yolk. Did she absorb the yolk from birth and it never really absorbed? Is this some weird chicken disease? what is wrong with Jasmin?

maybe omphalitis, an infection of the belly button.

There is no puss or seepage. It's like the hole is dry... swolen, warm and very hard like a hard boild egg yolk... the color and texture is just like a hard boiled egg yolk.... it's SO weird and I can't find anything online that even come's close to this problem.

my baby EE died last night, and had a scab on her stomach, and her belly was warm, hard and swollen... I hope yours does better.
