Scab/hard mass?

I had a random hen try to join my flock recently. I started to look her over to quarantine her and found this hard mass in between her breast bone and the crevice where her leg starts. It is super hard and you can almost feel it under the skin. I tried to get the best picture I could but she hasnt been handled much. Any advice?

It looks old, does it look mostly healed? (if you can manage)

It seems to be because its not red or irritated. I felt to see if the skin around it was warm from infection but it was not. Just have never seen something that large hanging off.

Maybe she was attacked or hurt herself. I'd wait to see if it comes off the skin, it doesn't look too bad or painful.
