Scabby & raw sore near butt (warning: picture)

Hi again. So my hen keeps picking at her wounds. I took the cover off today for 30 minutes and she opened one up to the point of bleeding. Looks superficial. But I can't get the cover off without her pecking at it. Any thoughts on what to do? I'm assuming this isn't normal...
