Scabs on beak?

Hm... I have a similar problem with my quails. Mine spreads, and the lumps are bigger. Like you said, the lumps on the beaks don't affect their health or anything. They've been there for a while, but never fell off, I'm still looking for an answer.. Do you have any suggestions? Until it goes away, I have to keep them isolated. Thanks.

Coturnix Quail, I'm sorry that I don't have any suggestions. Do you think your quail have pox or canker? My chickens were definitely suffering from scabs, due to being pecked by the other girls in the flock. After a few weeks the scabs fell off and the beak regrew... now you can't even tell there was a problem. Good luck!

Hi, thanks anyway. I don't think this is any illness because they are as completely active as the others.. I'm just so tempted to wanting to pop it to see what it is, but I don't want her to get hurt.
