My 6 month old Nigi doe has some scabbing, dry skin at the very tips of her ears, and on the backs of her front legs. They are white or light in color. Nothing is red or bloody. Anything to worry about?
My other doe is perfectly fine.

Either selenium deficiency or mites. I'd treat with 3 treatments of Ivermec, 10 days apart and a shot of BoSe.

Yup! I had to deal with the same thing. I did what Kate suggested and it worked

I have never bought either of these things, can you tell me where I can get them? I know I've seen Ivermec at TSC, for cattle right? Is it an injection or what?

And BoSe the actual name of the product?

How much to give?

THANKS!

Ivermectin comes in different types and its in paste or pour-on or injectable. With what you are dealing with you can use the horse wormer paste and give 3 to 4 times the dose if she weights 20 lbs give enough for a 60 to 80 lb animal. With pour-on its 1 cc per 22 lbs is what I give. I believe injectable is 1cc per 100 lbs of goat. hope this helps some.
