Scales and bumblefoot

Hello,
I need a concert plan for my rooster. He has both bumblefoot and scaley leg mites. Would someone please give me direction on how to handle these two problems? I don't want to overwhelm him, so I don't know where to begin. Please someone, set me up with a plan. Thank you.

Start soaking his feet in warm epsom salt water once a day and work on removing the bumbles gently and apply clear iodine after each treatment... keep him in a clean isolated area...

For the scaley leg mites, simply apply a thick layer of Vaseline down the shanks and toes... reapply as necessary to keep it well coated... that will suffocate the mites and they will die off...
