My roos face has been dry for half a week maybe I thought it was just dried food stuck on his face (I wet their pellets) but I noticed today it’s skin and it’s flaking off on both sides. I can’t spot any mites and he dusts bathes frequently but also his feathers are black so I’m not quite certain.
It’s been pretty hot and dry so I’m not sure if that’s the reason or he’s got a skin infection of some sort. Should I leave it alone, add Vaseline maybe? No other chickens are experiencing this
