they seem to have only infected his outside toes and the tips of the middle, those are the only ones that seem to look raised...

i used the nu-stock on a cut i got the other day at the beach, worked wonders

Sounds good :) I do mine every Saturday with an itty bit of dawn in a gallon bucket of warm water to cut through the Vaseline and make sure things get cleaned up. They get soaked and brushed then re-covered. I try to do them with just a soak wed or thurs. I wipe down them down, inspect them, and re-cover every day as they're housebound for now due to some other issues as well. One of those issues being I can't catch one of them until its pitch dark anymore! lol

He'll probably heal faster than mine :) The ingredients in Nu Stock - 73% sulfur / 25% mineral oil / 2% pine oil

Oh, I put yellow sulphur in the Vaseline. Only because I use the sulphur to control lice on my angora goats. So maybe that's what did them in. I buy the orchardists sulphur from our rural supplies, it's only $5 a kilo. Tassie is the apple isle, we are surrounded by apple and cherry orchards.
