Scab is nearly totally gone and the feathers that crept in from the back are really thick now. I don't know if they're gonna come back completely but this is way better than I imagined. I guess her eyelids are just always gonna be like this though :/
She's been out with all the other ducks for weeks now and they've been getting along fine. She's still learning her place in the "pecking order", I can tell, but she takes their hints quickly.

YAY! I'm happy for you, and your duck. Give it more time with the scalp loosening up. The eyelids may never be perfect, but it should get better in time. Don't worry though, she's learned to deal with her handicap, enough that she should do fine.

No, I don't think so. I'd say it just freaks her out being that close to her eyes. The skin there looks really good now, and feathers seem to continue to creep in.

She almost looks normal from the side...
