Does anyone know how long I should tube feed her for? She’s still not interested in food but I’m just wondering if tube feeding for too long will cause her any problems

You can cut back and see if she is going to eat on her own. I wish I had told you to give her children's liquid aspirin for pain relief. 0.10ml twice daily will help with the pain and maybe get her to start eating as well. It will make her sleepy, but that helps with recovery.

No she has no interest in food I even tried to give her mealworms earlier and she didn’t want them. I’ll pick some up tomorrow and see how that helps. She has definitely gotten more spunky since I started tube feeding her plus her eye is looking a lot better so we’re making progress like I said I just don’t want to hurt her by tube feeding too much but I guess she’ll let me know when she’s ready to eat on her own.
