I have 2 coops

1.) Has new spring chickens NOT infected!
2.) HAD old chickens that had SLM disease on the legs, gone (given away to chicken dude)

I want to move the NEW chics to the larger coop that used to house the infected older birds.

What do I have to do to move the uninfected new birds to the new coop that used to house infected birds? Is if safe to move them or do I need to decontaminate the coop?

If so how do I do that so that the SLM's dont jump to the new birds?

Can I just dust it with 7 or do more things need to be done? What about the run and everywhere else?

Thanks

Last year I had one bird with SLMs and it never spread to the other 5. They stayed in the same coop the entire time I treated the infected bird. Don't know if I was just lucky or if it's hard to transfer to other birds.

wow, guess no one wants to reply or help.........

went to a farm a feed store and spoke with an expert on the matter, got the solution in my hand.

Thanks anyways.......
