Good morning and Merry Christmas / Happy Hanukkah!

Can you look at my lady’s legs and tell me if she has Scaly Leg Mites? Her legs have always been ‘thicker’ than the other girls. She’s 15 months old.

I see a few raised and rough scales..especially on her left foot.
Wouldn't hurt to oil them.

Diatomaceous earth kills lice and mites. (WARNING: Make sure if you use it you use
"food grade" because the other kind can injure or even kill your chickens. Also, if they do eat the food grade one it's perfectly fine and it actually de-worms them. :)

I'm not a expert but her legs look pretty good to me.

What do you recommend and how often?
Just about any ointment or oil will suffocate the mites, rub it in up under the scales good...maybe once or twice a week(some folks go daily) for a couple-few weeks. How's that for vague? Bag balm, vaseline, castor oil, cooking oil, neem oil are a few that I've seen used. They all kinda make mess, will get on their feathers too, as legs touch when roosting...oil's probably 'cleaner' as you can wipe the excess off easier. You may not see any significant improvement for weeks, if scale beds are damaged they may never look quite 'right'.

No, it does not(no matter how many places you see it says so on the net)... would be especially ineffective for scaly leg mites.

I've looked it up, listened to podcasts, watched videos, - and all of them said that. But, :idunno I guess your more experienced than me though. :)
