Scaly leg mites?

I noticed my rooster has thick, weird scales on his legs. Is it Scaly leg mites? He’s the only one who looks like this and he is acting fine. He is about 6 years old. Thanks everyone!

I think that those rough scales are more indicative of his age rather than scaly leg mites. That being said, I would monitor him periodically.

Wouldn't hurt to rub some ointment(vaseline, bag balm, etc) up under the scales.
