Looks fine to me.That leg looks good to me.
The scales look slightly raised and her legs looked a little swollen and she is going through a molt and she's under a year old so I didn't think she would molt this winter. Her comb is pale and shriveled and she's not laying.2x ... Why are you suspecting Leg Mites? Are the scales raised?
You could spread some vaseline on the legs if you suspect, won't hurt.
From my notes:
Scaly Legs - Soak in warm water & mild dish soap. With toothbrush scrub with vinegar, garlic or Neem Oil. Smear leg with Coconut Oil. Clean out coop; remove shavings; spray Orange Insect Spray or DE, spread lavender, lemon grass, thyme, wormwood in shavings
Ivermectin (pour on) - Rub onto the legs, wear gloves. Std 0.75ml = 25ml ea leg & 25ml on skin. Ivomec on daily 1 & day 10, rub some kind of oil on legs daily.
She is eating and drinking and pooping fine. I feed her layer feed. She is a Barred Plymouth Rock. She has lost a lot of neck and tail feathers. I did check her and see no evidence of mites/lice. She doesn't get bullied or pecked at. Everyone was laying fine until we got a big snow that seemed to put a halt on everyone laying but that has been over a month ago and since then 2 out of my 4 of the Plymouth Rocks have molted and stopped laying. Now only 1/4 of them are back to laying but I have other breeds and they seem fine. I figured the snow would mess them up for a bit but not for this long. I live in western North Carolina. We've had some cold weather but the snow is gone and the days are warm.Is she eating/drinking/pooping? What are you feeding? What breed is she? What makes you think she's going thru a molt? Have you checked her for mites/lice? Do you have others? Is it possible the molt you see is actually her being bullied/pecked at? Was she laying, and not not?
If there are no symptoms & you want to play it safe, applying the coconut oil to her legs won't hurt. Could you post a picture of her standing on her own. Your location would help, wondering about your climate.
