Scaly leg mites, molting, something else? What can I do to fix it? Do I treat everyone? Only one of 6 girls looks affected. Also included a photo of what the other girls' feet look like, in case they have a mild case and I can't tell.

Thank you! They are about 2 years old and I've never heard of these before looking it up today and panicking! It does look like it could be SLM, how old are your girls?
Here's an article on a way you can treat SLM.->

Oh perfect thank you. Have you done the castor oil treatment? How many times do I repeat and how often? It looks as if it could be an early stage of leg mites. I find soaking in warm Epsom salts and lightly scrubbing the affected scales to remove as much dirt and mite debris as possible. Then using a small paint brush, I apply a generous coating of castor oil, using the brush to push the oil up under the scales. The chicken will be a dripping, oil mess. Don't worry. It disappears in just a few days, and legs and feet are clean again.
You can also use petroleum jelly, but castor oil has healing properties the former doesn't. Both will smother the mites. No need to treat those chickens not showing signs of infestation.
