Scaly mites or normal feathered feet appearance?

Different bird:

Hard to tell with the feather footed bird. Could be the beginnings of SLM.
It won't hurt to apply some Vaseline or NuStock Cream to the legs/feet at least once a week. Work your treatment up and under the scales.
